On what grounds can divorce be filed?

In Texas, divorce can be filed based either on “fault” grounds or on “no-fault” grounds.

“Fault” grounds include adultery, abandonment, cruelty or domestic violence, etc.

“No-fault” grounds means that the marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities that has destroyed the legitimate ends of the marriage.

Insupportability the most common ground used.
